How big can I make my design?
Our standard screen size is 12x12. In some cases we can go larger but that may include a special fee.
Why not print over seams, pockets or zippers?
To get the best quality print when screen printing, we need as flat of a surface as possible between the board (what the garment lays on) and the screen (that holds your design). The fronts and backs of t-shirts are flat and the same thickness, which allows us to get a consistent print every time. When you print over a seam, pocket or zipper, it creates a gap because of the thicker portions of the garments and the ink from the screen cannot touch the shirt due to the ridge caused by the seam. This creates sections close to the seams that have no ink on them, resulting in inconsistent or even bad prints.
What is your turnaround time?
Our typical turnaround time is 5-7 business days (can be up to 14 during peak seasons). Turnaround time is only an estimate and not guaranteed and starts when all artwork is approved and all garments have arrived. If you have a deadline for your order, you must let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may apply. Taking longer to approve your art proofs may delay your order further.
Do you have a minimum?
12 garments. If you have less than 12 a minimum charge will be applied.
Can I mix and match ink & shirt colors?
Yes. Different shirt colors are okay as long as the ink colors are the same. If we need to change ink colors additional fees will apply in the form of either a color change or a screen change.
You said something about a Screen Change?
A screen change is when we have to make a different screen to cover the changing of a color on a design. This differs from a color change where we just need to swap out the ink we are using for a different ink. If you aren't sure if you have a screen change or a color change ask yourself if you changed all of the color in question to a different color or if you just changed some of that color to a different one. If you changed all of the one color you have a color change, if not you have a screen change.
Can I put the Under Armor or Nike symbol in my design?
Nope. Never
Not even if it is already on the garment?
NEVER.
Can I do [INSERT CRAZY IDEA HERE]?
Probably. Give us a call or send us an email. We would love to bring your idea to life.
